Description:
The Confederates demanded of Fort Sumter. The Union commander (Abraham Lincoln) refused to surrender and also waited for reinforcements. As the Union was doing that the Confederates had their first shot of the Civil War. The outcome was the Confederate had victory! It was the first battle of the Civil War and Southern states seceded.
