3 effects were:
1.) Non-nazi's were replaced with SA members in the police force.
2.) The Nazi's gained more power when Hitler convinced Hindenburg to issue a policy that suspended all basic rights of citizens during an emergency.
3.) The Nazi's won 288 Reichstag seats in the elections.
Important in its century : Hitler being appointed as Chancellor was the most important event in the 1900's because World War II may have been avoided if that didn't happen. If Hitler wasn't given this position that allowed him to gain even more power, then maybe the Holocaust wouldn't have happened. This position that he was given also gave him the power to brainwash the people with antisemitism and the thought that the Aryan race was superior to all. That idea continues to cause conflict between ethnicities in modern day society.
