Description:
The Declaratory Act accompanied the repeal of the Stamp Act and stated that Parliament has the authority to tax America the same as Great Britain.
The colonists celebrated the repeal of the Stamp Act; however, they didn't appreciate the lack of freedom on taxes that come with the Declaratory Act.
