Description:
Whitman Publishes the first edition of "Leaves of Grass" which is a poetry book made of a collection of twelve poems. In which are written in a new bold style. This edition shocked everyone and Whitman even got a letter from Ralph Waldo Emerson congratulating him on his book and telling him that this was just the beginning of his great career.
