Description:
Occured on King Street outside of the Custom House in Boston.; A street fight occurred between a group of British soldiers and a Patriot mob who were throwing sticks, snowballs, and stones. The British were standing in a line and a British officer named Captain Thomas Preston, ordered more soldiers. The firing of a British gun, without the permission to, caused the rapid shooting. This incident killed five civilians; Crispus Attucks, Samuel Gray, Patrick Carr, Samuel Maverick and James Caldwell.
