apr 9, 1942 - Bataan Death March
Description:
On May 6th, the Philippines fell under Japan’s control. With 60,000 to bring to Prisoner-of-War camps, Japan decides to lead them on a 70-mile long march that would kill 10,000 soldiers.
On top of losing the Philippines, the United States had to accept the fact that they had not only failed to protect the land, but they had left so many allied troops to suffer in the death march.
