Description:
Peacekeeping has been apart of Canada for the longest while. However, in the late 20th century, it was far less prevalent than it was in the past, because attitudes towards it were unfavourable due to past scandals. Peacekeeping did bring us our national flag, and in doing so, we gained pride and ownership.
