In 1893, Milton visits the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago. This exposition was where new technologies from around the world were brought and displayed for people to see. Milton became interested in all the different types of technology and machinery it took to make chocolate and bought his own equipment from the exposition to take back with him to Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Then he began experimenting with chocolate ideas!
