sep 18, 1931 - Invasion of Manchuria
Description:
An explosion on the South Manchurian Railway in Mudken destroys the railroad. The Japanese claim that it was an act of sabotage, but China denies it. Due to this distraction, Japan sent its army to invade Manchuria. The main reason for this invasion was to capture their iron and coal. It was also made to be easy because Japan already owned the railroad and had armies there.
