Description:
The Bourbon Viceroyalty is divided into 4 stages, First, Second, Third, and the Enlightenment. During the first stage, there was an internal social an economic crisis. In the second, Mexico was getting prosperous, but Spain entered in crisis, with endangered Mexico's economic resources. During the third stage epidemics damaged the colony. During the Enlightenment many improvements were made. Despotism, a way of governing in which one person rules was implemented. People became more open-minded towards different religions and to the different ways people thought.
