aug 13, 1521 - Fall of Tenochtitlán

Description:

After Cortés recovers, he prepares for a counterattack in Tlaxcala. In May 26 of that year, Cortés declares the beginning of the site of Tenochtitlán. He blocked the entrances to the city, prohibiting the entrance and exit of people, goods, and food, this last one leading the people inside Tenochtitlán to starve to death. Finally, in August 13th, the fall of Tenochtitlán was declared.
