jan 30, 1912 - Hypothesis of Continental Drift-Alfred Wegener-January, 1912
Description:
Around the autumn season of 1911, Alfred Wegener was looking thrrough a library and found a paper that consisted a map of the fossils with the continents split apart. Wegener, highly interested in this information found more of the same situations that were similar to the one he found. So, he came up with a theory that the plates were once together because the coastlines and the fossils matched up perfectly. Thus, his theory was born in 1912.
