Description:
Castro went to jail and was exiled to Mexico where he met Che Guevara. Che Guevara and Castro decide to invade Cuba in 1956. Their guerrilla forces won many battles against Batista's forces, and Castro entered Havana as the victor in 1959. Castro moved quickly to a socialist revolution and a dictatorship in Cuba. Castro clearly sided with the Soviet Union over the US.
