Description:

Allowed segregation laws to be placed in public facilities and that the term separate but equal was constitutional. This court case ruled that segregation between the two races was constitutional. This event was a very immense setback and restriction for African Americans. This became the beginning for the fight for equality and freedom for African Americans.
