Wilt Chamberlain was born in 1936 and passed away in 1999. He made his NBA debut in 1959, after being drafted by the Philadelphia Warriors. He is known to be one of the greatest offensive players to play basketball. He was the first-ever player to score over 4 000 points in the NBA. At the end of his career, he had scored 31 419 points, this was the most scored by any player until 1984. He influenced basketball as he was the only player ever to score 100 points in a single game and he was also known as the best player of his time.
