apr 1, 1774 - A meeting of 56 delegates from
all of the colonies except Georgia,
in Philadelphia to discuss the
Coercive/ Intolerable Acts
imposed by the British government
on the colonies in response to
them rebelling to the new taxes.
It is the first time the colonies
gathered together to unite
against the British.
