Environment Globalization
A main factor resulting from environmental globalization is pollution. The countries listed above are exploited by larger companies for their cheap human labor, resulting in intense amounts of pollution.
Air quality is an important indicator of pollution in these countries. Air quality is rated on a scale from 0-500, the higher the value the poorer the air quality.
Vietnam has an air quality rating ranging from 100-150, meaning sensitive members of the community may experience heath effects but the general public will not. Indonesia's air quality in the capital city is deemed unhealthy ranging from the 105-200 range. This states that all members of the community may experience health effects. Finally, China's air quality ranges from 200- high 300's which is considered hazardous, and serious health effects can result.
Environmental globalization is a negative factor of the interdependence between countries in order to manufacture and product.
