Description:
In 1772 , Lavoisiers great accomplishment in science is changing science from thinking and talk about topics to actually measuring things and recording data. Some other things he accomplished, he named and recognized oxygen in 1778 and hydrogen in 1783. He also was the first one to construct that sulfur was an element, not a compound, this took place in 1777. He also discovered that even though matter may change its form or shape, its mass always stays the same.
