Description:
Stock market crash was the spark of the Great Depression. This caused the US' GDP to fall 29%, unemployment to rise to 25% (75% for African Americans), and the consumer price index to fall by one third. This led to why WWII started because if the US joined the war, it would allow them to produce more stuff in manufacturing such as guns, weapons, etc. ultimately causing more job oppurtunities, etc.
