jun 2, 1774 - Quartering Act 1774
There was another Quartering Act passed in 1774. The colonists had to provide barracks for the British soldiers. They included public houses, hotels and empty building. In 1774, British Parliament said that this housing could include people’s private homes. This shows that the colonists had to let soldiers in their homes and live in their homes this is why we have the Third Amendment.
