mar 24, 1765 - Quartering Act of 1765
The Quartering Act of 1765 required the colonies to house British soldiers. The colonists had to take care of the soldiers in public inns. They had to provide the soldiers with barracks, housing for soldiers. If there was not enough room they had to find other quarters. This shows that the colonists were mad that they had to provide soldiers with homes and take care of them. This is one reason they made the Third Amendment.
