Diocletian became an emperor in 284 c.e. He tried to reform rome. He did 3 major reforms: 1) Built walls around Rome to protect from Germanic invaders. 2) He Raised the salaries of workers and soldiers 3)Tried to stop corruption by holding officials responsible (I.E Crucifxion)
