Description:
Both Sweden and Finland wanted the Aaland islands which were between them. They had traditionally belonged to Finland but the Islanders wanted to go to Sweden. They threatened to fight over it and appealed to the League to help. After carefully studying the situation it was decided that the islands should go to Finland but no weapons should be kept there.
