jan 1, 1948 - The Marshall Plan
The Marshall Plan, implemented in 1948 in which the United States pumped billions of dollars into war-ravaged western Europe to prevent it from falling to the influence of the Communist Soviet Union.
This is an example of SOFT POWER where the US is using money to create GLOBALISM and avoid the influence from the Soviet Union on the Western Europe which is also an example of INTERNATIONALISM.
