The first smart phone was came out in 1992 but it wasn't called smart phone till 1995. The first smart phone was called the Simon personal communicator. It was released 15 years before the apple i phone. The Simon allowed you to go anywhere with it and still call there were also other features on it like texting, email.clock,notes, and a way to make appointments so you do not miss out. The Simon was a big impact on communication now we have new phones with better communication and features.
