Susan formed the Workingwomen’s Central Association. She was also elected president for the association. The Association allowed women education and had good work conditions.Anthony tried to get women jobs. When people in New York went on strike from their printing job, she tried to convince the place to hire women. If women were allowed to have the job, it would prove that women could do what men do. So equal pay would be essential. The National Labor Union Congress called her the enemy of labor because of the men getting replaced with women.
