My job, at Shoppers Drug Mart, is made possible in part by globalization, as the drugs, cosmetics, hygiene products, and food products are largely sourced from foreign markets. These products are then shipped to Canada where they are distributed to stores and stocked. This creates economic benefits for the local, national, and international economies.
