My first year in high school football was really disastrous. No unity, no compassion, and no leadership from any of the older guys; it was the first team that I was apart of that never really was cohesive. The varsity team went 1-9 that year under first year coach Britt Stone. One game that was memorable was last my last junior varsity game against Holston. I touched the ball a total of four times and two of them were touchdowns. The other was a 80 yard kickoff return, and the other was a 40 yard interception return. It was the first game I got real notice from the fans and coaches alike.
