Once Kublai Khan became the ruler of the Yuan Dynasty and became aware of all the religions of the Chinese culture, he stressed religious tolerance for all since everyone has their own opinions. The tolerance for other religions is important because all throughout Chinese history, there have been many religions fluctuating, and without tolerance, wars would take place constantly, ruining culture and population.
