Ramses the 2nd was a pharaoh during the New kingdom like Hatshesput. He was best known for his battle strategy's. He also had a lot of monuments because was such a great ruler. Ramses used his power to excess. He had many wives. (about 100) He had over 100 children too. He made sure his importance was known. he had statues of himself all around Egypt. Ramses was a fearless soldier. He fought in many battles. At age 10 he was leading a great army. He managed to make a peace treaty between Egypt and Hittite empire after war. This lasted for a while before The empire of Hittite collapsed in 1190 BCE.
