Description:
In the 1970s women gathered up to have large protest in New York. 50,000 women joined in the protest. They were protesting to be able to have regular jobs and have rights to education like the men got. They also protested against the stereotypes of women in TV shows. Many of the shows for the 1970s showed wives cooking and cleaning and staying home only and this upset the protesters.
