Giuseppe Mazzini, Giuseppe Garibaldi Victor Emmanuel II, and Camillo di Cavour were the main leaders of the Italian unification, who after being put together by Napoleon wanted to be their own official country. After taking back Northen Italy from Prussia they had to get the French out of Rome, and after that they were their own country.
