Description:
The Boston Tea Party was a large protest against The Tea Act that took place the same day as The Tea Act was passed, December 16, 1773. The American colonists weren't happy with the British control/taxing things that they didn't accept so to protest against the laws, they dumped 342 chests of tea into The Boston Harbor.
