Description:
The Declatory Act was passed on March 22, 1766 that was passed to get rid of The Stamp Act and lessen The Sugar Act. Parliament wanted to get rid of these acts because boycotts were hurting the British trade system. The law stated that any laws passed in the colonies would also be passed in Britain.
