Description:

The Intolerable Acts (also known as the Coercive Acts) was a law passed by Parliament that consisted of the Boston Port Bill, the Massachusetts Government Act, the Administration of Justice Act, and the Quartering Act. The Boston Port Bill closed the Boston harbor until the colonists paid for the destroyed tea. .The Massachusetts Government Act got rid of the colony’s charter of 1691 and replaced it with another council that the British pick. The Administration of Justice Act allowed the British officials to go to England or other colonies to have their trial. The Quartering Act demanded that the colonies would supply the British soldiers with a place to stay and living essentials.
