The French and Indian war, also known as the 7 year war is between France and Britain. When French expanded their land into Ohio River Valley it caused conflict with British, which led to the 7 year war. Both countries made alliances with the Native Americans and Britain got the colonist to help with the war. In return they were able to settle in the new land. On 1763, the war ended with Britain as the winners. At the end of the war Britain is in a lot of dept and does not let the colonists settle on the new land. Britain begins to tax the colonists to pay off the dept.
