dec 17, 1940 - Lend Lease Agreement
The U.S. government made a deal with over 30 countries, and dispensed about $50 billion in aid during WWII to their allies. This is when globalization started because the United States played a huge role financially while not affecting the sovereignty of the other states instead turning it into more of a business lender agreement with other countries. The U.S. Department of State stated that thanks to the lend lease agreement the world entered a new economic order after the war ended.
