Description:
There was around one half the population of Ireland and Germany that decided to immigrate. There were varying factors for the two groups to immigrate. Most Germans immigrated because of the civil unrest, unemployment, the economic crises at the time. The Irish were forced to immigrate due to the great potato famine in the 1840's.
