nov 6, 1860 - The Election of 1860
Description:
The election was essentially the South vs. the North and Democrats vs. Republicans. The north was mainly composed of Republicans while the south was the opposite. The main elective was Abraham Lincoln, he was both a Republican and from the north. He knew that he wasn't going to get any votes from the south so he stayed focused on winning votes from the north which worked in his favor: he won the election of 1860.
