What: Colonists boarded boats docked in Boston harbor dressed as Indians and dumped 342 pounds of tea into the harbor
Where: Boston Harbor
Why: Colonists cheered and supported these actions. The British were outraged and ready to take inevitable actions that would eventually lead to the revolutionary war. This was the cause for the effect of the intolerable acts.
