Description:
After the Battle of Yorktown, news of the defeat in war decreased the little popularity war had in the war. This led to the treaty which had 2 important terms. 1) Britain was required to view the United States as a sovereign nation. 2) The Mississippi boundary was to be used as the western boundary of the nation.
