jan 1, 332 BC - Entering Egypt
Description:
After Alexander declined King Darius III's peace treaty, he decided to move east into Egypt. While he moved throughout he would conquer many cities, one of the most notable ones was named after himself, Alexandria. Alexander the Great also marched far into the dessert to speak to the oracle Ammon, who was supposedly a god of a good counsel. Seeing how Alexander the Great could speak to the oracle, he called himself a deity of the gods and earned respect from many people.
