Significance: U-92 DJ Joseph Groome quits in the middle of his DJ shift and leaves the station without giving any prior notice to any other student or staffer. There was no reason given as to why he left during his shift. This perpetuates more negative thoughts about the General Manager Matthew Fouty because he is seen as the reason Mr. Groome quit - that he was upset from the last time he was almost let go and that this would give him the ability to leave the station on his terms.
Matt Fouty conferred with the Program Director, Jim Guiliano and it was determined that Mr. Groome is no longer a part of the station.
