Around the year 1967, Texas Instruments was looking for a new and innovative product for their company, which is when the calculator came into play. Jerry Merryman and James Van Tassel, worked hard to make this product their best one yet. With the calculator being only 6 inches tall and 55 pounds, it made it one of the hottest products on the market.
