Description:
Due to the inclusion of the Gentile’s, conflict soon arose within the church around how salvation was obtained, whether through Christ’s sacrifice alone or with the addition of Jewish worship and tradition. The verdict, at the Jerusalem Council, was that Salvation was obtained through Jesus and that was enough (Acts 15:11).This matter was addressed to the churches in letter by the apostles.
