Description:

Austen is invited to the Prince Regent's (later King George IV) palace. He raises the suggestion that she dedicate her soon-to-be published novel 'Emma' to him. She is unable to say no and her last 'Emma' is published next month with a dedication to the prince. This would be the last novel which she will publish.
