Seamus Wilson was born to Saroise Brennan and an unknown father. He was born in the US but was soon put in foster care due to his mother being sent back to Ireland. At age six he was adopted by Thomas and Susan Wilson. He grew up not knowing his birthmother but having vague memories of her. As a child he was forced to go to religious camps and Church, leading to his hatred of organized religion. At eighteen he secretly applied for a college in New York. The day he left he came out to his parents as gay. He never saw his adoptive parents again.
