jan 1, 1971 - o The Teacher Certification unit became the Department of Education
and it coordinator became identified as a chairman.
o The Dearborn Campus had its name changed to The University of
Michigan Dearborn
o A group of UM-D students, faculty, staff and Dr. Rosalyn Saltz developed
a child care facility. Dr. Saltz was able to create a small parent cooperative
preschool on the campus.
