Since CNN, a global broadcasting company, was able to attain the licensing to broadcast the World Cup match between Spain and Russia, I was able to witness an event occurring in a different country, Moreover, because of globalization, the game was presented to me in a manner I could understand. I did not have to connect to a Russian network in order to view the game and the game's commentary was in English.
