Degenerate’ exhibitions were showcases of specifically Jewish artists and artworks held by the Nazi regime to evoke disgust and derision from the public in response to the art created by these precieved degenerates. The Image is a Nazi propaganda poster for ‘degenerate’ art exhibition in 1937. The text states the title of this exhibition “The Eternal Jew”, 1937.
